A Fine Canine

I've been told that authors must not include photographs of their dogs on their Web sites, but then I have never been one to follow conventional wisdom. Besides, Pasty Cline was a literary pooch, and she played an important role in My Lesbian Husband.

Sadly, Patsy Cline passed away during the summer of 2001. She was 13 years old and lived a good long life. Linnea and I miss her terribly and keep thinking we see her in our home. I memorialize Patsy here, with an image created by our friend El Savage. (El was one of the models for the art by Karen Platt, on the dust jacket of My Lesbian Husband.) The photograph is actually a video still, from El's video documentary of Linnea and my wedding reception.
